Once a kindie teacher...always a kindie teacher...

Looks like I will finally get my wish to return to the classroom as a kindergarten teacher!!!!  HOORAY!!!!  I am very excited.  My husband is VERY excited too.  He is anxious for us to have our bedroom back.  Imagine if you will.... boxes, crates, books and miscellaneous "teachery" materials, stacked floor to ceiling, taking up half of your bedroom.  Well, that visual is what my husband and I have had to live with for the past couple years.  Those days will soon be coming to an end though.  Ahhhhhhhhhh,  What to do with that extra space?????

Here it is...

my first foray into blogging.

I'm not quite sure if "this" will help, but I've got to think of a more constructive way to relieve stress than stalking that "Book o' Faces" and playing virtual games.  It's very sad to think of all the time I have wasted, tending imaginary farm animals and planting and harvesting pretend crops.  If I could have a thumb half as green as the one I have on those games, we could keep local folks fed for months, maybe years with the fruits (and veggies) from our little garden.

Any who... Today, I feel the need to begin this new stress reducing activity.  The weather is gloomy and has kept all of my kiddos inside.  The weatherman forecasted a 100% chance of rain, which we have yet to see a drop of. He followed this prediction with threats that the weather will become nasty later this evening.  I am hopeful that this too will be a mistake.  The thought of severe weather tonight, does not thrill me, especially with youngsters who have an expressed fear of thunder and lightening.  To top things off, my youngest babe has refused to nap, thus he is quite clingy and fussy.  I am thinking all the positive thoughts I can to maintain harmony in our home tonight.  Spare a few for us, if you can.

Until next time...I bid you a good night. <3
